Welcome to Fairfield University's Mathematics Center's Webpage! 

The Mathematics Center is located in the Academic Commons on the main floor of the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, NYS 217, and it is a place where Fairfield University students can get free tutoring for their first-year core math classes (Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics).  We offer drop-in tutoring and one-on-one tutoring appointments.

Drop-In Tutoring Schedule (Regular Hours ending Monday, April 29, 2024)

Sundays: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm, 1 - 4 pm

Mondays: 10 am – 1 pm (Cancelled April 15)

Tuesdays: 10 am - 1 pm

Wednesdays: 10 am - 1 pm

Drop-In Tutoring Finals Week Schedule 

Tuesday 4/30: 10 am - 1 pm

Wednesday 5/1 (Cram Jam): 11 am - 3 pm

Sunday, May 5: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 1pm - 4pm

Monday, May 6: 10am - 1 pm

Tuesday, May 7: 10 am - 1 pm

One-on-one tutoring . Please log in to see the schedule and to sign up for an appointment (up to 3 half-hour appointments per week as space allows).  Please note that there are limited one-on-one appointments during Finals Week (as our tutors are preparing for their own finals).

Please note that the Math Center will be closed for university holidays or inclement weather.  There may be times when tutors need to cancel their shifts.  ❄️
