Welcome to Fairfield University's Mathematics Center's Webpage! 

The Mathematics Center is located in the Academic Commons on the main floor of the DiMenna-Nyselius Library, NYS 217, and it is a place where Fairfield University students can get free tutoring for their first-year core math classes (Precalculus, Calculus, Statistics).  We offer drop-in tutoring and one-on-one tutoring appointments. 

The Math Center is now closed for winter break. 

We will re-open during the second week of class in the spring semester.

One-on-one tutoring will begin around the 2nd-3rd week of the semester..  Students can log in to sign up for a free 30 minute appointment with a calculus/precalculus or statistics tutor or to see the appointment schedule.  Be sure to select the correct subject (calculus or statistics) when choosing your appointment as calculus tutors do not tutor statistics (and vice versa).  Students can sign up for a maximum of 3 appointments per week, as space allows.  

Students taking Explorations in Mathematics (MATH 1015) should utilize drop-in tutoring hours and/or their professor's office hours.

Please note that the Math Center will be closed for university holidays or inclement weather.  There may be times when tutors need to cancel their shifts.  ❄️
